[spambots and p0rn0 posters]

This forum board has been overrun by spambots and p0rn0 posters and should have some posting rules:

A) Posters should be made to register with a valid email address
B) NO Guest postings allowed
C) Have more than one forum admin so that p0rn0 posts can be deleted A.S.A.P

Unfortunately the Internet has become inundated with 16 year olds that get tired eating pizza and p0rn0graphers from the lowest of third world countries that love to accept US $$ to provide US p0rn0 sites.

Yes this sites boards seem to have been hit hard as of late with BS posts . I agree with ALL of your points , especially having only registered members with valid email addys . It is truly a shame that the sites admin seems to have gone missing and NONE of the other mods ( with the exception of Metallica ) seem to want to delete the crap posts . You know my position on this situation Ken and it's unfortunate . I have the awful feeling that the spammer/scammers/spambots will bring about the end of this site , which indeed would suck , because as most may or may not know , this was one of the handfull of original sites devoted to wiping out malware , I'd hate to see it go .  

These boards are forever reclaimed from the scumbag p0rnbot\spambots.

No longer will this be tolerated. Users will not join up and have some stupid search engine as a homepage just to try and git hits.

No longer will spam be tolerated. Posts will be edited and IPs logged, sites added to hosts lists when appropriate(Thanks Ken).

I have gone thru just about every user with a website and removed all I thought were of a spam type.

Once the new forum software is migrated, towards the end of the month, it will be even harder to do this.

OK, well with the new software we can log IPs of users who do not post. So those who post with links in profiles will get their IPs banned. 

This is of course provided you have something which we deem just an ad to get hits. 

Anything legit will be allowed.
