Hi Butch_Steel,

Please go to http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/, and download 'Hijack This!'.
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished,  the  "Scan"  button will change into a "Save Log"  button.
Press that,  save the log as a .txt file, and copy and paste its contents into your next post.

Most of what it lists will be harmless, so do not fix anything yet.

Regards,

Pieter

Where do I find this file or whatever it is to delete it ? I've done all the rest till I rebooted and my explorer is back to normal , or so it seems, but I don't understand what I'm meant to delete now, or how I find it, or.. what it is, so if you could be a little more specific, I'd appreciate it alot, anyway thanks for taking the time out to reply so fast and help me ! Thanks a lot !!!

Hi Butch_Steel,

Open Explorer by doubleclicking "My Computer" or use the combination of the Windows key + E
Then doubleclick your C: drive and scroll down to the files. There should be one called spp.reg
Rightclick it when you find it and choose delete.

Pieter
