What and where on your pc is it exactly that your avg keeps detecting? Might well be something in the _restore folder, in that case it's easy to fix.

todays avg was clear but there was a list the resident shield kicked out in windows svc host or something; anyways this is the mb log file which is puzzling as it's pretty clear.

also i've got a browser hijack thing going on too.

i'm unable to get the pc to scan online; i hit the button, it thinks about it for ages then does nothing. my avg keeps alerting me to pakes trojan but then it can't find the folder so i'm baffled.

any other ways to scan my pc ?

forgot to mentions, i ran a pakes rmoval tool but half way thru th scan keep getting dcom error then machine restarts ?
