Heh this thing is soo funny and pathetic at the same time
I saw some more 'sensations computer consulting' on the web and here are some quotes:
About Ad-Aware
"destroys more valuable programs"
Just running this application once in the default mode totally destroyed my Gator eWallet, Morpheus, DivX, and iMesh, none of which are spyware, which is the ontly thing that this is supposed to get rid of. The application is very poor, and has no good warning that this is going to destroy GOOD programs. I can see why so many people are saying not to install and use it! I will actively add my voice to those that say not to use it, to my hundreds of clients. When they stop removing legitimate programs, I will then change my mind. NOW I have to do a bunch of reinstalling, and replacing of data, because of a mistake that AdWare caused. Sarcastically said, "Thanks, Adaware!"
Score given: Minimal on all counts
On Gator E-Wallet:
"Fantastic product!"
This is the best product on the net! It is easy to use, and it works every time. One person wrote that it "came" with Audio Galaxy, but it doesn't...it is completely separate. (Audio Galaxy mentions that it has GAIN, which isn't the same as Gator, and in all cases, the person must accept the GAIN for any GAIN application. If you miss that, you are not reading!) Gator fills out passwords and web forms really fast, and the information is on your own system and encrypted, so that it's safe, unlike other similar products. I tell everyone I know to download it! The only problem is that C/net only has the download for 3.1, and they are now using 4.0.
Score given: Maximum on all counts
Rather odd that he's so enthusiastic about it. I'm really insulting anyone's intelligence with that comment though, it was already obvious.
Another interesting site: http://sensations.freewebpage.org/
I don't know quite what to make of it.
Oh and I, in contrary to the people that are suckered into using GATOR will prefer to remain anonymous (except for my IP of course, but nothing in life is free)
youre one of them - definitely
and youre not the first, even microsoft sends in their lackeys into forums anonymously
