everytime i turn on or restart my computer, a red screen flashes each time as the Windows XP startup window comes up.  Could this entail any problems?

Hi Ed,

Can you give a little additional info?

Is it an empty red screen or is there text / graphics on it?

How long does it flash / stay there?

Have you installed any new hardware / software just prrior to this happening

Do you remember any weird signs the evening / day before this started to happen.

Anything that can be able to help us pinpoint your problem out further
