Lately, I find frequently the cookie from directnetadvertising on my computer. I remove it frequently but this cannot be a solution. What can be done to stop this abuse?  Mad

Hi gatido,

If you have the latest version of Internet Explorer, you can check the following :

Rightclick Internet Explorer icon -> properties. You should see a Privacy tab. In there click on advanced and set block "third party cookies". (apply+ok)

Next in the restricted zone (in the security tab) you can add *.directnet as well. (apply+ok)

You can also (if you want) download a so called cookie manager program.

Here's a good one that's freeware :

AnalogX CookieWall

Hope this helps,

Cheers,

The most simple solutions are often the most difficult to think of. Thanks for the reminder with the security tab. I was already operating with my firewall, spybot, spywareblaster,... but it didn't even cross my mind to do something with the explorer. Well...  Embarassed
Thank you.  Very Happy
