FYI...

12 January 2004
"Microsoft has made a last-minute decision to extend support for Windows 98 and ME until 30 June 2006. 'Support for 98 was due to end this Friday (16 January) and users given no more than a CD to help them 'make the most of' the operating system. ME support was due to expire on 31 December this year. But in a peculiar turnaround - only announced after press reports forced Microsoft's hand - the software giant has decided not to ditch the millions of users that still happily use one of Microsoft's most stable Windows incarnations..." Very Happy

I, personally, have had an NT based computer for several years now, however with the billions of dollars M$ has raked in on these products, it only makes sense that they should support them for a lot longer than they want too.

I have been doing Workstation/Server/Network support for over 10 years now and I really appreciate all that M$ does. If it weren't for them making a Piece of Shite product like they do, I would have been out of a job years ago!  Laughing

I would like to thank Micro$oft and all it's developers for allowing me to make money the old fashioned way...fixing the over-priced products other people create!
