Bill, I'd like it if you'd provide a stipulation to people who're coming to this site to find the answers to questions that are commonly answered 'DL SpyBot S&D or AdAware,' basically telling people to first try solving their problem THAT way.  May save some space and make people more apt to post/answer more difficult questions .

Download, install, update and run the first four programs in that order. if that is to no avail, then unzip the hijackthis dowload and run it directly. Do a scan and make a post of the contents of the both the startuplist log and the hijackthis log here, and on the www.spywareinfo.com form boards.
