I thought I would pass along a "happening" I experienced after downloading and running the new CWShredder 1.5.1 update.

The program came across a file named "DirectCC.Exe" and asked if it was a "random" file or not -- I was not sure so I ticked the "NO" -- very good thing that I did that!

I turns out that the file in question is a M$ Direct Cable Connection application 1999 vintage -- if anyone else is still holding on to their Win98se OS and download this new update -- it is more than likely that you will run into this as well -- just a little heads-up! Very Happy

Hi RockHound,

I appreciate the warning, and everyone should use that "No" button for every file he has not been advised to be malware.

CWShredder looks for random named files and of course legitimate files are bound to show up.

Regards,

Pieter
