I have noticed that Unzy has recommended Bitdefender in his posts for free on line virus scans in the past. Is Bitdefender a better or more comprehensive virus scanner than HouseCall.

Both are quite good.

Others worth trying are
Panda http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm
and RAV http://www.ravantivirus.com/scan/
