Is Yahoo delivering adware?

I was on this page on Yahoo
http://yp.yahoo.com/py/ypResults.py?stx=Crocodile&stp=a&tab=B2C&city=Pasadena&state=CA&uzip=91105&country=us&msa=4480&slt=34.148060&sln=-118.000946&cs=4&Submit=Search
And I clicked on the "Change Location" button, which has the URL:
http://yp.yahoo.com/py/yploc.py?&clr=ypResults&stp=a&stx=Crocodile&desc=Crocodile&qtx=&tab=B2C&country_in=us
When I did so, SpyBot Search and Destroy, which I have set up to notified me if my computer wants to download any suspicious software, told me I was attempting to download Avenue A.
That's not the sort of thing I expect from a reputable company.

Yahoo -and- Google's marketing techniques leave -alot- to be desired. 'Not surprised about the "Avenue A" thing, but the "warning" you received was likely the fact that ("only") a "cookie" from them was about to be added to your browser's cookie list - not a good thing, since it would be used to track the sites you visit that they want to monitor.
'Not necessarily malware, but really a "Privacy" issue, IMHO.
'Curious about your SpyBotS&D settings, though...

I clicked on Spybot's Immunize button and installed the bad download blocker with the "Ask for blocking confirmation" option.
